5.10. Microsoft Advertising

For our online marketing measures, we use the Conversion Tracking Tool Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads) provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. Microsoft Advertising is an online marketing service that helps us specifically target advertisements through the Microsoft Bing search engines using the Universal Event Tracking (UET) tool.

To achieve this, Microsoft Advertising stores a cookie on your computer if you arrive at our website via a Microsoft ad. Through this method, both Microsoft Advertising and we can recognize when someone clicks on an ad, is redirected to our website, and reaches a predetermined target page (conversion page).

We gain insight into the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to our website. However, we do not receive any information that allows us to personally identify users.

As part of using this service, personal data may be transmitted to countries outside the EU/EEA, particularly to the USA. Microsoft Corporation has been reviewed under the Privacy Framework program, resulting in an adequacy decision according to Art. 45 GDPR for third-country transfers.

The legal basis for using the cookie to store information on your device and subsequently read it is your express consent according to § 25 para. 1 sentence 1 TTDSG. You can revoke this consent at any time by disabling cookies in your browser settings or through our Cookie Consent Manager for future use. The subsequent processing of your personal data is based on your express consent according to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can also withdraw at any time. The set cookies have a validity of 13 months. Data collected via these cookies will be stored for 13 months unless there is another legal retention obligation.

For further information on data privacy and the cookies used by Microsoft, please refer to the Microsoft Privacy Statement . https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement.

5.11 Pinterest

For marketing purposes on our website, we utilize the Conversion Tracking Technology “Pinterest Tag” provided by Pinterest Inc., located at 808 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA.

If you arrive at our website via a Pinterest pin, we set a cookie on your computer that interacts with an implemented “tag” in the form of JavaScript code from Pinterest. When a user is redirected from a Pinterest pin to pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, the tag captures specific predefined user actions (such as completed transactions, leads, website searches, and product page views). Upon executing such an action, your browser sends an HTTP request from the cookie via the Pinterest Tag to Pinterest’s server, transmitting certain information about the action (including the type of action, timing, and browser type of the device). Through this communication, Pinterest can create statistics about user behavior on our website after redirection from a Pinterest pin, which helps us optimize our offerings. However, we do not receive information that personally identifies users.

If you are a Pinterest member, Pinterest may link the information collected during your visit to your member account. Based on the information gathered via the pixel, Pinterest can display interest-based advertisements in your Pinterest account (retargeting). You can view and modify the privacy settings of your Pinterest profile at any time.

As part of using Pinterest, personal data may be transmitted to countries outside the EU/EEA, particularly to the USA. To ensure adequate protection of your personal data when transferring it to such so-called third countries, we have established appropriate terms of use with Pinterest. The European Court of Justice has assessed the USA as a country with insufficient data protection standards according to EU norms. Due to the absence of an adequacy decision and without suitable guarantees, there is a particular risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for control and surveillance purposes, potentially without legal recourse. Therefore, we maintain ongoing communication with Pinterest to ensure the protection of your personal data through any necessary additional measures.

The legal basis for using the Pinterest Tag for storing information on your device and subsequently reading it is your expressly granted consent according to § 25 para. 1 sentence 1 TTDSG. You can revoke this consent at any time by disabling cookies in your browser settings or through our Cookie Consent Manager for future use.

The subsequent processing of your personal data is based on your expressly granted consent according to Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can also withdraw at any time by deactivating cookies in your browser settings or through our Cookie Consent Manager for future use.

The set cookies have a validity of 180 days. Data collected via these cookies will be stored for at least 180 days unless there is another legal retention obligation.

For more detailed information, please refer to Pinterest’s privacy policy: https://help.pinterest.com/en/topics/privacy-safety-and-legal

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is entered by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor using various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, length of stay of the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not notified that an analysis is taking place.

The legal basis for the use of this service for the associated storage of information on your device and its subsequent reading is your express consent pursuant to § 25 para. 1 sentence 1 TTDSG. You can revoke this consent at any time for the future by deactivating cookies in your browser settings or in our Cookie Consent Manager. The subsequent processing of your personal data is based on your express consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR. You can also revoke this consent at any time for the future by deactivating cookies in your browser settings or in our Cookie Consent Manager.

In the context of the use of Google ReCaptcha, personal data may be transferred to states outside the EU/EEA, in particular to the USA. 5.15 OUTTRA

For the functionality of shop search, we utilize the OUTTRA component provided by 81 MEDIA GmbH, located at Ziegelbrennerstr. 5, 73074 Stuttgart, Germany.

The IP address is essential for the presentation of this function. For the shop search function, the visitor’s IP address is anonymized on OUTTRA’s server. An anonymized IP address allows for a rough localization of the visitor based on the non-anonymized part of the IP address. Subsequently, local shops are displayed to the visitor on the website.

The legal basis for any associated storage of information on your device and subsequent retrieval is § 25 para. 1 sentence 1 TTDSG. You can revoke this consent at any time by disabling cookies in your browser settings or through our Cookie Consent Manager for future use.
