Did you know that a snowflake is composed of around 10 million tiny ice crystals, and that collectively as snow it not only serves as water storage, air filter and insulation material for people, animals and plants, but by reflecting up to 99% of the sun’s rays, it actually protects the planet?
These transient works of art are therefore essential to life on Earth and critical in the fight to slow global warming.
Our duty.
We are committed to cutting our carbon footprint as much as possible and helping to slow global warming. To achieve this, we reduce and offset CO2 emissions along the entire manufacturing chain and extend the usable lifespan of our (already long-lasting) products through our lifetime repair service.
A responsibility we all share.

Did you know that the 25,000+ types of lichen in the world form a symbiotic partnership between fungi and algae, enabling them to become established in habitats that they could not otherwise colonize on their own?
They are living proof that we achieve more when we work together and that an effective network allows all parties to benefit. It’s a unique quirk of nature. And serves as an example for us.
Our example.
In our daily business we also nurture social networks. In doing so, we treat our partners with respect and appreciation and, working together with the Fair Wear Foundation, strive for fair and socially just working conditions for all.
A responsibility we all share.

Did you know that an ordinary drop of water has a total volume of 50 µl and that drinking around 50,000 drops a day is the minimum required for adults?
So, these tiny little drops have a big influence on people, animals and plant life. They form the basis for all life and must be kept pure.
Our vital necessity.
We recognize our responsibility and therefore take great care in selecting our materials and in how they are processed to ensure their impact on the environment is minimized. Which is why we dispensed with PFAS in 2020 and replaced them with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that is not harmful to human or animal health, or to the environment.
A responsibility we all share.

This proves they not only have incredible superpowers, but also highlights just how important it is to protect these wonderful and unique natural creations.
Our duty.
We too benefit from the natural superpowers of some animals, such as geese. But we only ever do so if the benefits are essential to our products. We make sure we use them in moderation and only use down that is Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified or vegan manufacturing materials along our entire production chain.
A responsibility we all share.
