If you want to save additional weight, simply remove the hip fins, the helmet bracket or the frame. 330D PA 6.6 Ripstop

Deuter Microrip is a 330 denier polyamide blended fabric offering fantastic tear resistance. The use of Nylon 6.6 makes the material very durable and robust. Thanks to the PU coating, it is also water repellent (WC 2.000 mm) and is, therefore, the perfect material for big packs.

330D PA 6.6 Ripstop
630D PA

  • * D stands for denier. This describes the yarn weight. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9000 meters.
  • * PES stands for polyester. PES fibres are very tear and abrasion resistant and hardly absorb moisture.
  • * PA stands for polyamide. PA fibres are extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. They are also characterized by high elasticity and low weight.

Alpine System

With backpacks for use in alpine regions, it is essential to ensure the optimum balance of carrying comfort, durability and function in terms of weight. The Alpine system is the answer to this challenge. Both of its softstripe pads embrace the back flexibly with every movement. In conjunction with the streamlined pack sack, the load is always close to the body’s centre of gravity. This guarantees full control of the backpack.

PFAS free

PFAS free

This product is free from PFAS (per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFAS have water, dirt and grease repellent properties but they are persistent chemicals and harmful to people, animals, and the environment.

Instead, deuter uses durable water-repellent finishes (DWR) that are environmentally sound and harmless to human and animal health, and free from these ‘forever chemicals’.

Excellent backpack for summer and winter mountaineering, very resistant and practically waterproof material, large quantity of accessories which in fact does not force any technical compromise: space for water bag, helmet holder, ski holder, attachments for crampons/axe/sticks, rings for hang equipment (karabiners etc...). The backrest adheres perfectly to the body during climbing and has no side pockets that create bulk, guaranteeing freedom of movement during progression maneuvers, nor internal pockets or separators (excluding the small one on the dome of the backpack). However, it has a very convenient zipper for extracting material from the bottom without having to extract all the contents from the backpack itself. In conclusion, it is perfect for the activities for which it was designed, it is NOT a backpack for hiking, which is why there are much more comfortable backpacks from the same company such as the Futura with external pockets, backrest detached from the back etc...
