I bought the sleeping bag in October 2022 from a local specialist shop after a consultation. In the end, the price-performance ratio was the deciding factor over the alternatives in the shop and on my list. It was in use throughout November on a bike tour (1300km) across Germany and Switzerland. Since the weather was very mixed (24°C at midday in the sun, fog/rain at times just above 0°C & light frost at night), I hung it up to dry at every opportunity I had in permanent accommodation to be on the safe side. The coldest temperature at which I slept outside, protected from the weather but without a tent, was -5°C. It was cozy and warm. To be on the safe side, I will first test whether -10°C is also possible on my balcony. For sleeping, I recommend just long underwear made of pure merino wool and for women like me, a pair of alpaca wool socks, a buff and something for the head that is also not made of synthetic fibres - not least so that everything can breathe properly. In this combination, I usually had the zip (completely) open and the warm collar always unfastened.
