Deuter Aircontact Lite System
- Stabiliser straps allow optimal positioning of the backpack.
These are easily repositioned on the shoulder straps using a “Triglide“
buckle.
- Breathable padding with special ventilating hollow chamber
foam: With every movement, a pump effect circulates air through the
breathable Aircontact cushions of this direct body contact system. Extra
air channel ventilation between the back cushions is very effective.
- The anatomically shaped hip fins are made from multiple
layers. The inner side has a layer of soft foam with 3D AirMesh lining
for heightened comfort. The firm foam on the outside is modelled to the
anatomic shape and transfers the load to the hips. Side compression
straps on the fins regulate the load and increase stability. On the
compact ACT Lite fins this bilaminate construction is perfectly balanced
between weight reduction and load transfer ratio. Aircontact models
designed to carry heavier loads, maximise stability and load transfer
thanks to the additional synthetic reinforcement in between foam
layers.

rigidity and flexibility to follow your body movements, and transfers
weight through it's perfect back fit.

Deuter Aircontact System

Aircontact models above 50+10 SL sizes also have two different fixing points, depending on the back length setting, in order to optimize the load adjustor strap angle.

- Two Aircontact pads in special breathable hollow-chamber foam distribute the load evenly. The Aircontact pads perform a pump effect, whereby every movement prompts the exchange of air, resulting in optimum back ventilation. The result: 15% less perspiration than with previous body-contour packs.
- Anatomically formed hip fins for freedom of movement and body-hugging carrying.
- Flexible, tensioned Delrin® U-shaped frame provides stability with little extra weight. It follows the most varied movements with absolute ease. The frame combines with the body-hugging fit of the pack to create a comfortable yet compact carry system with even load distribution and effective load transfer.
Deuter Speed Lite System
- A close fitting padded back with comfortable breathable 3D Air Mesh.
- Removable waist belt and chest belt.
- Tensioned Delrin® U Frame provides exceptional flexibility at very lightweight. Removable for weight reduction, or folding for most compact transport.
Deuter Alpine Back System
- Load adjustor straps on the shoulder straps and hip fins serve to fine-tune the load according to the terrain: loose > more ventilation and mobility; tight > more control and a more compact fit.
- Guide: X-frame system with curved profile aluminium stays, provides exceptional flexibility and weight carrying ability.
- Removable insulating sitting mat stabilises the back.
- Anatomic hip belt with bilaminate foam for comfort, flexibility and weight transfer.
- Rise, Freerider Pro & Guide: The pivoting Vari Flex hip fins follow complex body movements. Thus, the load can be evenly distributed to the hips, providing freedom of movement and reducing fatigue. Removable for weight reduction. Also separately removable waist belt (Guide, Rise).
- Cruise, Guide Lite & Rise: Flexible, tensioned Delrin® U-shaped frame provides stability and effective load transfer with little extra weight. It follows the most varied movements with absolute ease.
- Contoured, comfortable 3D Air-Mesh lined shoulder straps.
- Two padded foam stripes that provide carrying stability and comfort with „chimney” effect ventilation between the stripes. The breathable 3D AirMesh is used on all points of contact, and is very durable.
